2 ● The Adelphian — Summer Letter from the Head of School Summer 2022 Dear Reader: Welcome to Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn’s Summer 2022 edition of The Adelphian — Adelphi’s award-winning art journal! This very special collection of original student artwork, photography and writing aims to shine a light on some of Adelphi’s most talented artists and creative writers. Earlier this year, The Adelphian was named a 2021 American Scholastic Press Association First Place award winner — a distinction that celebrates and recognizes the creativity that takes place at Adelphi all year round. Within these pages you will find original artwork, short stories and poetry pertaining to world events and school activities like our end-of-year musical production “Adelphi Love.” You will see some incredible photographs taken by our very own students and staff.
