Oracle Fall 2019

On September 9th, 2019, Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn students, faculty and staff offi- cially headed back to school to begin the Academy’s historic 157th academic year. Teachers and students gathered in the auditorium to greet and mingle with each other, talk about the summer and share their excite- ment for the new school year. Head of School Ms. Iphigenia Romanos said, “We are proud to announce that the theme for this academic year is ‘The Best Day of My Life!’ and our aim is to create the most rewarding experience for all of our students and families. With so many new activities, class trips and academic programs be- ing planned and implemented this year, we feel confident that every day spent inside these hallowed halls can and will be the best day ever!” The first day certainly felt like the “best day ever,” as students reported to their homerooms to hear about some of the new pro- grams and events planned for the year. Then they spent the rest of the day in their Houses working on team-building projects.
