Oracle Summer 2020

Summer Fashion Trends I find both spring and summer to be the most beautiful times of the year, and they are also very important seasons in the fashion world. Below are some fashion trends for this season that will make you look refreshed and happy once the global lockdown is lifted. First, let’s talk about the latest trend of this season, which is puffed sleeves. They started regaining popularity late last year, but 2020 is predicted to see the puffed sleeve complete its comeback. Puffs can make the perfect statement on the shoulder or down the arm. One of the more surprising trends of this season is metallic leather. Look for this silver metallic look on everything from coats to pants and placed all over bags. Word to the wise: keeping the rest of your look basic will allow the metallic elements to really pop! Next, one of the oldest — but always trendy — elements of this fashion season is the famous trench coat. First developed even earlier than World War I, the trench coat was worn by Army officers, literally, in the trenches. Now trench coats look set to be hugely popular this spring and sum- mer, with a few trendy revisions, like feminine pleats and prints, to soften the often androgynous staple. Of course, these are warm and sunny seasons, which always bring us floral prints and bright colors. In my opinion, spring and summer are the best seasons to wear floral prints, which can make you shine and look fresh. Giant floral patterns, clashing colors and oversized polka dots are sure to accentu- ate our post-lockdown looks. Of course I must mention the many ac- cessories that are sure to be trendy this sum- mer. Personally, I think sunglasses are one of the flashiest accessories you can find today. For example, I have about 10 pairs of sunglasses, which are all pretty cool and stylish, and they always add an accent to all my outfits. These are my six favorite types of sunglasses for 2020: tiny frames; fla t- tops; br ight white; futuristic structure; thick, oversized frames; and retro round. Fashion trends tend to surprise every new season, and it’s getting more and more exciting waiting for new collections, especially after this extended lockdown. My advice to you is not to be shy when it comes to your style and to always experi- ment with your outfits based on the latest trends. Don’t be scared to experiment this spring and summer and just be yourself!
