S U M M E R 2 0 2 0 , T H E A D E L P H I O R A C L E , P A G E 3 By: The Oracle Staff BREAKING NEWS: As this newspa- per went to press, the Oracle learned that the following students had been selected for induction into Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn’s 2020-2021 Student Advisory Board: Maxelle Cohen (Grade 11), Yura Izachik (Grade 11), Isaac Nasimov (Grade 11), Susan Benjamin (Grade 12), William Chen (Grade 12), Ilona Makovetskaya (Grade 12), and Erika Xiang (Grade 12). Isaac, Susan, William and Ilona are returning to the board after an event-filled 2019-2020 session, during which they showed tremendous leadership by launch- ing a weekly homeroom challenge to keep students engaged throughout the distance learning period. They are proud and eager to welcome Maxelle, Yura and Erika as new inductees! Stay tuned for details on the upcoming Student Advisory Board Swearing-In Cere- mony, at which time all inductees will be presented with their official certificates and blazers.
