By: Ilona Makovetskaya, Grade 12 Quiet on the set! Hidden talents are being filmed! The month of April was devoted to rehearsing and recording the Adelphi’s Got Talent Show — a special video production featuring hidden talents from Adelphians of all ages. “It was very exciting to see how many students have special talents that they want to showcase!” said Upper Schooler William, who also took part in the show by solving a Rubik’s cube in less than a minute alongside fellow Brain Games moderator Isaac. After each performer rehearsed on a closed set for Theater Arts Director Ms. Fregara, she offered feedback and prepared the act for recording. The talented students and faculty members then performed one final time for the cameras and were filmed expertly by Mr. Buttacavoli. Acts included stand-up comedy, a magic show, singing, dancing, drawing and even martial arts demonstrations! Adelphians can’t wait to view the final product and show appreciation for each other’s unique talents.
